Death Certificate Information

How do you obtain a copy of a Death Certificate from Vermilion County, IL?

To obtain a death certificate in person, the interested party must indicate the reason for applying, such as: property right interest, personal interest, legal representatives, etc.

For the purposes of genealogy, the death certificate must have been on file for at least 20 years.

The fee is $23.00 for each death certificate and $12.00 for each additional copy of the same certificate.
